Last year, our Burns Night digital Sip Along was one of our most popular events, so we can’t wait to do this in person!

We’ve partnered with The Tetley and Brown-Forman to deliver an evening of great food and superb whisky.

Burns Night is a celebration of the iconic Scottish poet Robert Burns. Many suppers take place on his birthday January 25th, but they can also be throughout the year.

Uk malts ambassador for Brown-Forman Charlotte Coyle will be talking us through each whisky, the history and the differences between them.

Brown-Forman has been responsible for quality whiskies for over 150 years and is dedicated to showcasing sustainable products that give back to its communities.

Included with your ticket will be:

A welcome cocktail, the whisky Highball – Benriach Original 10, Peach Iced tea syrup, lemon and soda

A three-course Burns supper created by the Head Chef of The Tetley:

Starter:

Neep and tatties pakoras, chutney, (Ve/GF)

Main:

Smoked haddock chowder, rye grain with leeks, chives, dill (Cullen skink, using Grimsby fish)

or…

Vegan haggis, marmite and orange roasted carrots, whisky-oat sauce (Ve)

Dessert:

Forced rhubarb cranachan, whisky, oat brittle (Ve)

Three whiskies:

Benriach Original Ten – A Ten-year-old Speyside matured in Sherry, bourbon and virgin oak barrels. Subtle smoke, toasted oak and juicy orchard fruit.

Glendronach 12 – Richly sherried Highland aged for twelve years. Smooth vanilla, soft fruit and a long nutty finish.

Glenglassaugh Revival – ex-bourbon and red wine cask Highland, rested in sherry casks. Sweet, fruity with hints of maritime.

This event will occur at The Tetley in Leeds, home of the former brewery and contemporary art space, restaurant and bar.
